What started as an e-mail newsletter to share some beer knowledge and trivia has now morphed into a blog about craft beer and the beer industry in general. While I love to share what I learn, I also in many cases am simply sharing my opinion about particular beers. Words alone cannot help you to judge a beer, so I encourage you to try for yourself, and feel free to share your own comments.
Back issues of the newsletter can still be found at:
Cheers!

Hi Keith,
Love the sight and your style. I started a company last year called Civilization of Beer and wanted to tell you about it. I’m at http://www.civilizationofbeer.com and would love to hear your feedback on my services. I was also wondering if you might deam it worthy of a link to your site.
Anyway, from one beer man to another. Thanks and Cheers.
The mission of Civilization of Beer is to promote, through education and appreciation, the responsible enjoyment of high quality, craft beer in the context of our rapidly changing culinary landscape.
Goals
To close the gap between wine studies and beer studies in the professional culinary community and return beer to its proper place at the American table.
To provide educational and entertaining materials, beers, resources, and event services to the private and corporate sectors for a profit.
To operate for the public good, act philanthropically, and partner with those who promote socially responsible and environmentally sustainable practices.
